I chose not to practice drawing humans when I was younger and boy do I regret that choice right now. I got into The X-Files almost two months ago and I'm having a very hard time trying to draw fan art and not being satisfied with anything I manage to create. Note to self, step out of your bleepin' comfort zone every once in a while. You'll thank yourself later.
Anyway, here are a few sketches that turned out alright in my opinion (I put more effort into these than I normally do and on top of that I actually enjoyed drawing these, which is rare if I'm drawing something way out of my comfort zone). By the way, does anyone have a scientific explanation as to why David Duchovny's facial features seem to be the most challenging thing I've ever encountered as an artist, and why there seem to be many people sharing the same struggle?
